My computer has yet again decided over the last two days that it doesn't want to connect to the internet for more than three minutes at a time. I know you are all disappointed that you won't get a nice juicy Mansfield Park dissection based on tonight's adaptation, but sometimes life is just unfair that way. :)

I've had several conversations with people over the last few days where the person goes, "Hey, have you heard of this movie about Jane Austen...?" It was either that or "The clock upbraids me with the waste of time," but I happen to be rereading Mansfield Park (which is manifestly not on my fields list!). I'm enjoying it, but I feel guilty about it as well, because I should be doing/reading all sorts of things to prepare for classes.
